Akıllı Yem - Important Notes When Starting Use!
⚠️ A balanced TMR ration should be prepared and given together with roughages (corn silage, alfalfa hay, straw, oat hay, etc.). Our Animal Nutrition Experts will contact you to prepare a free customized TMR feeding formula for your farm.
⚠️ Do NOT use with thresher straw alone! To prevent rumination problems, at least 2 kg of wheat straw or hay per calf is recommended.
⚠️ When switching to Akıllı Yem 38 HP Concentrate Beef Feed, apply at least a 7-day feed transition program. (You can get support from our Animal Nutrition Experts.)
⚠️ Clean water, rock salt and quality roughage should always be freely available (ad libitum) in front of the animals.
⚠️ Internal and external parasite treatments must be performed.
⚠️ Enterotoxemia vaccines must be given (2 doses, 21 days apart).
⚠️ Pasteurella and IBR vaccines are recommended for animals newly added to the herd.

Beef Cattle Live Weight Estimation Table from Chest Circumference
If you do not have a scale, you can estimate the approximate live weight from the table below by measuring the cattle's chest circumference (from just behind the front legs, around the body) with a tape measure.
📏 How to measure? The tape measure is wrapped around the body starting just behind the animal's front legs, passing through the widest point of the chest (point C on the back) and read in centimeters (cm). The value is matched with the 'Chest Circumference' column in the table below to find approximate live weight (kg).
